MARILYN KAY LAHR

Marilyn K. Lahr was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

 She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University.  She received her law degree from Southern Methodist University.  She has one beautiful daughter, two great dogs, a bunny and a horse.

Ms. Lahr is the founder of the Law Offices of Marilyn K. Lahr.  She practiced with large law firms for nearly ten years, trying cases for Fortune 500 companies.  In 1993, Ms. Lahr formed the Firm, and continued to practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation.  Over the years, she has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in tort litigation, employment litigation, products liability, legal malpractice, insurance disputes, and civil rights disputes. 

In 2012, Ms. Lahr took the position of President of a venture capital enterprise, overseeing the investment in and operation of a wide variety of businesses, including a rural broadband internet company, a compressed natural gas fueling station chain, a fitness equipment company and a software business.  This opportunity gave Ms. Lahr unique insights and a new perspective into representing corporate clients.  She is back practicing full time with a renewed commitment to providing affordable, effective representation to all clients.
